Dear Eggsperts—Hello there. Do you actually provide services or only guidance? Thank you. And whatever you are doing for the infertility seekers, it’s a very noble thing to do.—Just Asking in Albuquerque
Dear Asking—Thank you for the kind words.
We are real people who are actively involved in fertility treatment. In our “real” lives, we do provide fertility care. M is a Reproductive Endocrinologist with a clinic in the Southeast United States. N is an experienced fertility nurse who is currently working as an educator in the fertility industry, but is not currently working for a specific fertility clinic.
As the Eggsperts, we are not a clinic and are not providing treatment to patients. We are here to provide information for patients who are on their fertility journey. Our goal is to provide a friendly and warm resource for general fertility information in a “not-too-technical” manner that may be accessible and understandable for the non-medical people going through fertility treatments. We do hope that information provided will help patients with some of the questions they may not feel comfortable asking their provider, or in supplementing the answers given by their clinic. Sometimes, just hearing something in a different way, or in a different setting, allows the information to be digested. We do want to be clear that we are not a substitute for medical advice for any individual situation. We are NOT a substitute for the care your doctor has designed for you. We will always defer to your doctor for management of your unique situation.
We hope we met your Eggspectations—An Eggspert
